🇵🇹 Origin: Portugal
A sunny terroir, family producers and unique know-how, between Douro and Tras-os-Montes.
Portugal is one of the cornerstones of our European routes.
Between the Douro valleys, the hills of Tras-os-Montes and the coastal areas, several family producers perpetuate authentic techniques, cultivate remarkable terroirs and produce products of great finesse.
Their work and their high standards are an essential part of Comptoir d'Éole's identity.
Caixeiro – Olive Oil & Almonds
Mirandela – Tras-os-Montes
Caixeiro is a family farm located in the Tras-os-Montes region, renowned for its Madural olives and almond orchards.
The Teixeira & Morais families cultivate their olives at high altitude, in a dry, continental climate that gives them a remarkable aromatic intensity. Their oils are cold-pressed in small batches, with a constant focus on purity and authenticity.
Their almonds complement a know-how deeply rooted in the territory.
Products concerned:
• Caixeiro olive oil (bottles and cans)
• Natural and prepared almonds
• Other artisanal specialties (tapenades, jarred olives, balsamic vinegar, etc., depending on availability)
