About
Comptoir d'Éole connects committed producers, ports and your tables through decarbonised sail-powered logistics and fine products selected with exacting standards.
Our story
Born at sea, Comptoir d'Éole carries the conviction that trade can regain meaning, slowness and humanity.
Our voyages, our meetings with producers and our maritime routes give rise to a new, coherent logistics system that respects living things.
Our mission
-
Gastronomic excellence
Fine, organic and authentic products, selected directly from family producers and committed artisans. Nothing is chosen by chance: each coffee, oil, tuna, port or spice is the result of precise know-how, a living terroir and a real human relationship.
-
Sail transport
Modern and efficient logistics drastically reduce emissions (CO₂, SOx, NOx), eliminate underwater noise pollution to protect wildlife, and become completely independent of oil. Our new generation of sailing vessels uses weather routing to optimize each route and offer trade a consistent, sustainable, and meaningful pace.
-
Human traceability
From producer to plate, each product carries the story of its land, its artisan, and its journey. Thanks to our QR codes, you can access information about its origins, cultivation methods, stopovers, logbooks, and the actual maritime route. Complete, vibrant, and genuine transparency.
Our partner sailboats
We collaborate with pioneering shipowners in sail transport. Each vessel brings its maritime expertise, rigor, and commitment to more coherent logistics.
Our sailing ships cruise between South America, Central America, and Europe, carrying ethical and sustainable treasures. Each stopover tells a story, each cargo carries values.
"Sailing with cargo is about reconnecting with the ocean." - Long-distance sailor
